Georgetown, South Carolina
Georgetown County Airport is Waiting on You!
Georgetown Airport is located in SC’s beloved Lowcountry, one of this nation’s most historic and beautiful regions. Because it is situated midway between Charleston’s history and the hustle of Myrtle Beach, Georgetown serves as the southern anchor of the Grand Strand and is perfectly situated for whatever you need or can imagine doing. Guest, resident or vacation home owner, it is also the perfect destination airport for upscale neighborhoods along this stretch of coast. From Murrells Inlet through Pawleys Island, traveling pass world-class communities like Wachesaw Plantation, Prince George and DeBordieu Colony and south to McClennanville, the Georgetown County Airport makes all the best places easily accessible for inbound and outboard flights.
Wondering what’s nearby? For a quick list that can’t possibly do the Lowcountry justice, there are state parks, rice era plantations, gardens and museums, all manner of eco-friendly attractions, golf and more golf, dining opportunities that run the gamut from soul food to shopping, fine dining, history tours, boat tours and wide, wonderful beaches. Also, because seven blackwater rivers flow into the Atlantic nearby, there are creeks and marshes for kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding and at least a thousand secret fishing holes.
The terminal and airport’s FBO, Seven Rivers Aviation, will exceed expectations. The airport is modern and well-equipped with all important amenities, including full time mechanics, hangers, meeting rooms and a pilot’s lounge with a private shower. Accommodations and car services are close at hand, too.
